Last week, 41 of our talented choir members travelled to the O2 to take part in Young Voices, joining over 8,000 children to create the world’s largest school choir. The atmosphere was electric, and after weeks of rehearsals, the excitement truly set in as they stepped into the vast O2 arena, ready to be part of something extraordinary.
During the afternoon, the children had the chance to watch the professional performers rehearse, gaining a real appreciation for the skill and dedication behind a live show. It was a valuable experience, reinforcing the importance of practice and showing them first-hand how effort and perseverance lead to success.
For the concert itself, we were joined by 70 family members in an audience of thousands, and even though they seemed very far away, we managed to spot them waving at us! As always, the children were excellent ambassadors for the school, and their enthusiasm and love of singing shone through from the moment they entered the venue.
