Last Monday Years 3, 4 and 5 were very lucky to have a visit from bestselling author Jenny McLachlan. Jenny introduced us to her fantastic series of books starting with ‘The Land of Roar’. An afternoon of role play and storytelling followed, transporting pupils to a world filled with dragons, mermaids, ninja wizards, and a very creepy scarecrow villain! We even had a sneak peek at her newly released fourth book in the series, Dragon Riders of Roar!
Jenny shared her top tips for aspiring writers and spoke about her journey to becoming a published author. Pupils left feeling inspired by her creativity and imagination, eagerly lining up to have their books signed!
