We were delighted to announce our Prefects, Heads and Deputy Heads of School this week. These appointments are decided through a democratic election where every Year 8 student and staff member has an equal vote.
These senior leadership roles come with great responsibility, as students are expected to promote and embody our school’s ‘Way of Life.’ It is an exciting opportunity for our senior pupils to develop leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on the daily life of the school.
As ambassadors, prefects will serve as role models, uphold the highest standards of our ethos, represent the school at key events and assist in the smooth running of school life. They will also support the admissions department providing tours to prospective families and offer guidance to younger students.
We are extremely proud of our Year 8 students, who not only face the challenge of a rigorous academic programme to ensure they are fully prepared for entry into their senior schools at 13+, but who also contribute greatly to the wider life of The Prep.
Congratulations to all – we look forward to seeing you thrive in your new roles!
