On Thursday 3rd October, we took 41 pupils from Years 3 to 8 to the annual Somerhill School Regional Cross Country event, where over 500 pupils from 22 schools competed. Renowned for its challenging course, our pupils were both excited and a little apprehensive. However, in true Prep style, they all rose to the occasion, performing at their best to ensure they finished in the highest position possible for both themselves and their teams.
We are especially proud of our U9 Boys’ team and U11 Girls’ team, who both placed a fantastic 2nd overall, with standout performances from one of our U9 boys and one of our U11 girls, each finishing 4th in their respective races.
Congratulations to all our runners, and best of luck for the rest of the cross-country season!
