It was fantastic to see so many faces at Family Day for a fun filled afternoon in the sunshine.
The choir sang beautifully and opened the fair with both the school song and Firework by Katy Perry, with only a week to rehearse thank you Mr Beharrell and the choir for your hard work and practice. The bbq was constantly sizzling with some delicious burgers, hot dogs and accompanying salads, ice-creams were plentiful and thank you to all our cake bakers, there wasn’t a cake left at the end of the day!
We had a wide variety of stalls with something for everyone. There was a continual queue for our amazing face painters and it was lovely to see the results of their creations with unicorns, cats and tigers running around amongst us. There was constant bouncing on the various inflatables, goals being scored at beat the goalie, coconuts being knocked off, ducks being hooked and raffle prizes being won. Sponge the teacher is always popular and it was fantastic to see such accurate throwing by so many children, it bodes well for our sports fixtures this year!
Thank you to all involved in bringing the fair together and making it a success, a special thank you goes to TJ Richards for her continual hard work at organising our brilliant events.
