Forest Nursery has been a hive of activity this week with mud painting, life cycle puzzles, pirate treasure hunts, bird feeder making, identifying birds (robins, a pair of nuthatch and many blue tits have visited) and bugs. So far the children have found many worms. They check to see whether they are adults by looking for a saddle. They’ve also found beetle larvae, centipedes, spiders, millipedes and wood lice and continue to enjoy the space to explore.
